Company History
In 1968, Robert J. McDaniel founded NLP Enterprises, Inc. as a painting and decorating contracting company operating throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan area. In 1972 Ambler M. (Monty) Blick, joined the business, followed by Wincy Blick Casserly in 1973. In its early years, NLP achieved success and thrived as a growing painting contractor by providing superior workmanship and quality service as a family-owned and operated business.
Today, NLP Enterprises, Inc. is a premiere commercial/industrial-finishing contractor, with expertise in a wide array of services with operations throughout the Eastern seaboard. Robert, as President of the company, is active in all phases of the business. Monty, as Executive Vice President, heads the Estimating and Purchasing departments, and Wincy is Corporate Secretary and Corporate Counsel for the company.
Other family members have joined the business since 1986 including Mark B. McDaniel, Traci McDaniel and Greg Blick. Mark is a Vice President in charge of field operations, and he is slated to succeed as the second generation to guide our family business. Traci is our Purchasing Agent, and Greg Blick is a project foreman. In addition, NLP is fortunate to have a support staff of dedicated and experienced employees who are an integral part of our "family" business and contribute to our success.
Our long term goals are to continue to both expand our business horizons and our excellent reputation within the industry by maintaining the personal involvement and dedication that our family-owned and operated business provides to our customers.
